What is mlab?
mlab is a cybersecurity company whose core mission is to make digital security accessible to everyone. We build tools, research vulnerabilities, train professionals — and believe that security awareness is the most effective defence against cyber threats.
Our ecosystem spans several platforms: from vulnerability research to professional training to, now, education for the very youngest users of the internet.

Why focus on children?
Threats are real and growing
Children face phishing disguised as games, social engineering by predators, privacy erosion through apps and cyberbullying — often without any framework to recognise or respond to these threats.
Habits form early
Security behaviours — like using strong passwords, spotting suspicious messages and protecting personal data — are far easier to build from childhood than to correct in adulthood.
A massive gap in resources
Nearly all cybersecurity content is written for professionals. A 7-year-old encountering their first suspicious message has nowhere to turn for help that speaks their language.
What mlab Kids offers
108 interactive activities
Scenarios, quizzes, simulations and challenges — not passive reading. Each activity is designed to build intuition, not just knowledge.
4 age-appropriate levels
Content calibrated for ages 3–7, 8–11, 12–15 and 16–18. The same core concepts are taught differently depending on cognitive and emotional development.
No account, no personal data
Progress is stored locally on the device. No registration, no email, no tracking. A cybersecurity platform that actually respects its users' privacy.
Bilingual EN / FR
Every activity is available in both English and French, with translations that go beyond literal — adapting examples to each cultural context.
Completely free
mlab Kids is and will remain free. Security education for children should not be a paid-for privilege.
Built by practitioners
Every activity is created by cybersecurity professionals who work on real threats every day — not academics writing about threats they've never seen.

Used in the field
mlab Kids is more than a website: it is deployed in partnership with schools in France and Belgium , where it serves as a cybersecurity awareness tool for real students, in the classroom.
These institutions are not named out of respect for their privacy, but every deployment confirms the same belief: digital safety education belongs in school, from an early age.
